When you think of all the many rap queens of this generation, Saweetie definitely has a seat somewhere on the throne. Although the world has been in long anticipation for a debut album since the now-double platinum debut of her 2017 single, “Icy Grl,” she’s still managed to stay afloat thus far by way of well-received EPs, well-curated social media presence and most importantly well-planned collaborations. Her 2021 Doja Cat-assisted single “Best Friend” even nabbed her a set of GRAMMY nominations. Not bad for no album out!
