The Delaware State Hornets will open MEAC conference play against the Howard Bison in an ESPN-televised men’s basketball game this weekend as a part of the conference’s 2024-25 televised schedule.
The Delaware State at Howard matchup will tip off at 8:00 p.m. EST on ESPNU.
The all-time series is tied at 15-15, with the Bison riding a seven-game win streak.
The last time the two teams met was in the MEAC Basketball Tournament Championship game on March 16. Howard defeated Delaware State 70-67 for their second consecutive MEAC Championship crown.
That marquee game is one of many matchups to start conference play.
Morgan State will play host to South Carolina State, Norfolk State, the current top team in the MEAC, starts conference season against Maryland Eastern Shore before North Carolina Central and Coppin State tangle in Baltimore.
