Atlanta’s very own Lil Donald stops by to chop it up with Incognito and DJ Misses.
The “Like What” rapper has collaborated with some of this industry’s biggest names, such as T.I., 2 Chainz, DJ Smoove, Zaytoven, and more.
He explains the differences between new and old artists. Lil Donald tells how he set the trend of “loving, and supporting and showing love to women [in rap]”—which he coins as his unique style of rap, which has since been adopted by artists like Skilla Baby, Hnxcho, and Yung Bleu, and more.

With over a decade of experience in the game, he notes that although “people be tuned in, they just don’t be showing love”. As an independent artist, Lil Donald has amassed millions of streams and and curated a loyal fanbase—straight out the mud!
“We [old artists) sacrificed ourselves and did these bad deals because we knew we had the talent…I need people to see who I am, so I’m going to work until I’m out of this…then I can do it myself,” he says.
