Grambling State and Jackson State will take their football rivalry to the bright lights of Las Vegas this fall.
A source has confirmed with HBCU Sports that the two Southwestern Athletic Conference foes will face off on Oct. 25 at Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders. The matchup, a showcase of HBCU football, will mark the first meeting between the schools at the state-of-the-art venue.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is a key event sponsor, committing $350,000 to support the game. Organizers said the partnership highlights the city’s efforts to expand its presence in sports and entertainment while celebrating HBCU culture.
Kickoff time and ticket information for the game have not yet been announced.
