Delaware State has been hot on the recruiting trail since hiring DeSean Jackson to be their head coach, and they just added another big-time transfer to their roster.
Michigan State wide receiver transfer and son of NFL All-Pro Antonio Gates Jr. has announced his commitment to the Hornets.
Gates is now the second Power Four transfer and sixth transfer overall that has committed to Delaware State since Jackson was hired.
In his three seasons at Michigan State, Gates caught nine passes for 131 yards and a touchdown in 14 games.
This includes a game against Prairie View A&M this season in which he caught three passes for 42 yards.
