The 2025 NFL Combine’s 329-prospect field has been announced, and it features a highly touted HBCU offensive lineman.
Former Alabama A&M offensive lineman Carson Vinson is the only player out of an HBCU, and one of five FCS offensive linemen, to receive an invite to participate in the NFL Combine.
Vinson was also the only HBCU player to receive an invite to play in this year’s Senior Bowl as a member of the American Team.
During the Senior Bowl practices, the former Bulldog made waves with strong performances, including winning a rep against Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Stewart.
Vinson is aiming to become the first HBCU player to be selected in the NFL Draft since former Jackson State defensive back Isaiah Bolden was taken by the New England Patriots in 2023.
The NFL Combine will take place from February 24 to March 3 and will air on NFL Network.
