After years of fan campaigns, viral social media posts, and online petitions, McDonald’s is finally bringing the snack wrap back.

On December 5, 2024, Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, announced the return of the beloved menu item. Despite its popularity, McDonald’s discontinued the wrap in 2016, citing operational challenges.
“The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025,” Erlinger said. “It has a cult following, I get so many emails into my inbox about this product.” -Joe Erlinger

First introduced in 2006, Snack Wraps became an instant hit for their convenient size and customizable options. It features tender crispy or grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, cheese, and tangy ranch or sweet honey mustard, all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla.
While it’s no secret that McDonald’s isn’t the ideal destination for a healthy snack, this quick bite at only roughly 320 calories is the perfect option for on-the-go.

Fans can’t quite mark their calendars just yet, as the company is keeping the exact drop date under wraps for “competitive reasons”…but can rest assured knowing it’s on the way!
